​I am an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of New Mexico where I study and teach American politics and political communication. My research draws on scholarship in public policy, political behavior, political  psychology, social media & information technology.

 

My research generally centers in political communication and focuses on questions relating to how digital media technologies generate new affordances and how these affordances impact individual-level perceptions, opinions, and behaviors.
